Rwanda and Azerbaijan Sign New Cooperation Deals in Agriculture, Education and Aviation
Baku – President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev signed a set of cooperation agreements on September 19, 2025, aimed at strengthening ties in agriculture, education, trade, and aviation services.
The signing followed a tête-à-tête meeting between the two leaders in Baku, where discussions centered on advancing productive partnerships that directly benefit both nations.
Speaking at a joint press briefing, President Kagame emphasized that Rwanda is committed to ensuring these agreements deliver tangible results.
“We want to continue strengthening cooperation and ensure that our partnership yields concrete benefits for both countries,” Kagame said.
The Rwandan leader was accompanied by State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Gen. (Rtd) James Kabarebe.
