Shema Ngoga Fabrice, known for his leadership at AS Kigali, is now set to lead Rwanda’s football governing body after being elected FERWAFA president with overwhelming support — 51 of 53 members voted in his favor.
During his campaign, Shema promised to bring a “movement” of change, calling for unity across the football community under the vision: “One Vision, One Team.”
He will be joined by a fresh executive team that includes Gasarabwe Claudine as First Vice President in charge of Administration & Finance, and Mugisha Richard as Second Vice President for Technical Affairs.
Members say they hope the new leadership will bring renewed energy to women’s football, refereeing, youth development, and the professionalization of competitions across the country.
