Kagame Calls on Africans to Achieve Food Security Through Action

At the African Food Security Forum held in Senegal, President Paul Kagame urged African nations to stop making endless promises and instead focus on implementation.

He stressed that Africa’s vast land and natural resources can drive food security, but only if policies and commitments made at such summits are put into practice.

“First and foremost, it is the responsibility of governments, but every one of us also has a role to play,” Kagame said.

He encouraged youth to contribute actively instead of only demanding change, noting that sustainable food systems require both leadership and citizen participation.
