In the professional studies category, 8,201 candidates sat for the exams out of 8,222 registered, achieving a pass rate of 89.8%.
Across all tracks, the education sector recorded significant improvements. In general education, 61,737 students sat for the exams, with 83.8% passing.
The Ministry of Education noted that while performance continues to improve, efforts are needed to close the gender gap, as boys scored higher overall than girls.
These results underline Rwanda’s commitment to raising education quality across general, technical, and professional pathways.
