Paul Kagame is attending the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, alongside more than 25 African heads of state and government leaders, according to Village Urugwiro.
The summit was jointly organized by William Ruto and Emmanuel Macron to strengthen cooperation between Africa and France in areas including innovation, investment, and economic growth.
The meeting focuses on building partnerships based on mutual benefit while promoting sustainable development and shared economic opportunities between the two sides.
Olivier Nduhungirehe, who is also attending the summit, said Rwanda expects to benefit from discussions centered on innovation, economic transformation, trade, and investment.
The summit is being held under the theme:
“Innovation and Growth.”
Leaders are expected to explore new strategies to boost economic cooperation and strengthen Africa’s role in global innovation and development partnerships.
