Paul Kagame held talks with Mohamed Ould Ghazouani on regional security issues and matters of mutual interest between Rwanda and Mauritania.

The two leaders also discussed broader security challenges affecting different parts of Africa, as well as key international issues important to both countries.

President Ghazouani is in Rwanda to attend the upcoming Africa CEO Forum 2026 taking place from May 14 to 15 at Kigali Convention Centre.

The forum is expected to bring together African heads of state, business leaders, and development partners to discuss investment opportunities and strategies to accelerate economic growth across the continent.
